We spent the next day walking and talking and seeing art! We went to the Tate Modern, which I just adore since modern art is my cup of tea. I'll share photos of some great art housed at Tate in my next post.

On balcony at Tate Modern looking over the Thames. |

Zoomed in across the Thames. Cool bridge, right? |
|
Peeking at people walking in! |
We ate at a diner real close to there, sat out of the decks and watched life happen in London. Sitting on the banks of the Thames River with the breezes and cool weather was amazing. Even more lovely with some hot stew, chowder, and a beer!
We played with our shadow portrait against the Thames as well. I guess you can see, the water was kind of dirty.

Woooo. |
It was too funny because it ended up that some our friends would be in London the same time we were, well, visiting some other friends of ours! We were only able to see them for a short while, but it was still great meeting up. They had five kids in between them, so we met at a playground right outside the Eye of London and let the kids just have at it! How fun.
